Default 18.65mpg with an AWD running 87

So my fiance loved the TBSS compared to a highlander and a pilot. The thing she hasn't liked since I picked it up for her was the gas mileage and having to run 91. Was driving a 97 Corolla which I daily drive now due to 100-200 miles a day. I can't get it to go bellow 30mpg.

With HP tuners I dropped timing (which I am slowly adding back at cruise speeds) so she can run 87. That's $0.20-.$0.25 a gallon there. I also added electric fans ($30 for the fans from an LT1 F-body).

Previous best was 16.5 on a a 250 mile trip. This weekend I drove home from going away which was 193 miles, mixed driving (90% freeway) and got 18.65.

I still need to lean it out at cruise (haven't played with the wideband yet. My goal is 20mpg on the average with 87. It might be a stretch, but we'll see what happens.

BTW, there is a danielle tune and a Shaun tune

My wife has the same concerns with her TBSS. LOL loves the truck but hates the gas stations. Interested to see if you get to 20 a gallon.

When I'm not the one driving, $5 every 2 days adds up. Plus she was driving a Corolla. The TBSS is much more than she needs even de-tuned.

I have been told that you buy a kit for a reagular tb and just just use the front springs than just let the air out of the airbags is the true or false?I want it 0to handle good to so.Thanks!
