so you are wanting to put a g80 locker in the rear end of a 03 silverado w/ a v6 engine, 4l60e trans, and 3.23 gears in the rear end?

just clarifying the info

Yeah thats what I meant sory

I bought a 6 Liter and Im upgrading the tranny and rear end b4 it goes in haha..

Sorry left that part out

Just get a true trac, that stock rear end isnt that strong if you really push it.. Ive had 2 of my buddies tear them up bad.. I have had my true trac for about a year now and I love it.. but yes it will work..

if your upgrading for the 6L dont get a g80(also referred to as the grenade80), get a detroit tru-trac or eaton lsd

what does your v6 have now in the rearend? reason i ask is cause i just pulled my v6 dropped in a 5.3 and the gears are 323 anyway... i upped to a 373 and a arburn..
