I have been wondering this same thing. I have an 07 and would be interested in a cam swap. I dont know much about the fords, I have been a die-hard chevy guy. Id really like to do something more serious than just headers. Its so damn easy with the LS1 to swap the cam.

last week we put an 2000 gt motor in a 96 mustang and we put some 234/238 .550/.550 113 lsa cams in a that 4.6..it was a big tricky..but it sounded awesome..i was really surprised..but i think they would fit in the 5.4 motors also

yes there are cams out for the truck as I understand, but its will cost you close to 1300 for the cam swap if you do it yourself. go to F-150 online and they can help you alot.

they are not that much for the 2 cam motors, it may would come close to 1300 for a 4 cam with the valve springs and all.

Is this the NBS or OBS 04? That's the first question. If it's a three valve motor (NBS truck), your options will be limited.
