I am trying to find a set of 4.10's for my 5.3 cc. Keep reading every post on this and other forums about gear swaps and keep conflicting information. If I order these gears:

#1 will they fit?
#2 will the abs light come on?
#3 if the abs light comes on what does it effect and how do I rid of it?

If you are making a gear change you will have to retune your computer for that. I know for sure that it will effect the way your trans works.

 

This is the first I have read of a computer tune. Why? I can understand for the speedo but beyond that???????

Can I just swap the gears with any brand gm 10 bolt 8.5 and not have any problems?
