I down loaded a stock tune for a 2004 6.0 LQ9 off of EFI Live's website. I know I have a 99 pcm, but I have a 2004 LQ9. So, does this mean I can copy over the VE table to my tune and be done with VE table? You can't get much more accurate than that, huh?

IMO the stock VE tables are not optimum.
Tune it on the street and you'll get better results.

Has to be a close starting point though. Especially since I was tuned for a 5.3.

if you are looking to get a ve table to work for 6.0, yes. Now tune the **** out of it since you have a starting point and driveability.

Just what I wanted to hear.(wanted a 2nd opinion) I'm just kind of scared b/c the two tables are totally different. But I've done a couple of comparison's which made me feel better. There was also a very noticeable difference in the ve table between the 99 and 02 5.3's also which could possibly be one of many reason's why the 02 was stronger from the factory.

Should work, Your 99 has two VE tables with different resolution. If your MAF fails your in the secondary VE. If your tuning you work your Primary but need to apply to your secondary. I dont know how to post it, But I have a spreedsheet for this. PM me if you need it.
