Default Help, Crankcase pressure/Oil leak?

I have motor oil dripping (small amount) from somewhere over (?) the pan. Anyone else experience this? Theory is the blower causing excessive crankcase pressure causing oil to get past seals.

I used a Snap On vaccumm gauge to monitor the crankcase pressures on my new engine. It was hooked to the engine and taped to the windshield. At a WOT hit the crankcase showed positive boost.

So is this causing damage? Can a breather eliminate issue?

Found breather line from driver side valve cover not connected to J-Tube (thanks Justin and Brain for excellent diagnosis).
It was bone dry though. It is now connected to rear of J-tube, but the big question is is there any permanant damage to seals?

I wouldnt worry about it man the pressure just belched a bit passed one of the seals somewhere. The only place you have to worry about is where the t-chain cover, oil pan an dblock all meet there should be some sealant there and if there isnt it will constantly leak. If it was from anywhere else and the bolts are still tight then you are fine they are rubber o-ring with steel so they do a good job and can take some abuse.

Yeah, I'd give it a little time with that hose properly hooked up and see if the leak continues.

Have you checked your oil level to see if you can spot how much you lost?

Last checked (hot) was at the full (hot) mark on stick. Only a few (10?) drops noticed yesterday and less today, but I didn't really even go into boost today, yet

I still have 'the drip' . Cant see anything from under engine except some oil on pan, drain plug is tight. This morning I had 1-2 drips after running 5 miles to work without going into boost very much.
Any ideas how i can locate problem?
All help appreciated!

I had a similar issue on my '92 Silverado........of course I have 195000 miles, but I pressure washed it all down and used a flashlite and inspection mirrors to find it.
