Dyno #s with different size tires
#1
Hello,
I was wondering if it would make any difference on dyno results. Like say you dyno with whatever size came stock on your truck then put on say a 3" taller tire and dynoed. Would you get the same results. Not sure how that would effect the outcome.
Just a question that has been in my head for awhile.

At the time I'm running 35x12.50R17 tires, what I was thinking that if i put the stock tires (245/75R16) back on and did a dyno run I would put out more HP. I just did a dyno run this past weekend and only put down 371 HP which I thought I should of been around the 400 range. Like you said with the bigger heavier tire it takes alot more a$$ to get them rolling.
