I new it would happen some day but wasn't sure when or why.
Was surfing, looking for stuff for a presentation I'm putting together for work, and have my home page set to this site, so it comes up anyways.
She walks in the room and says what are you doing now?!?!?
I said looking for stuff for work, she like "your on that damm truck site all the time!"
I just laughed and rolled my eyes.
Think she may need something real to bitch about, then sitting here and lurking would not be such a bad thing.
I told her to go take a nap, that didn't go over too well either!!

aaahhh!!! You are now an official member. My wife refers to it as the "your damn truck site" and the truck as the "neverending money pit". She gets mad anytime Im on here. I think thats why she has been encouraging me to get the SRT8 after I told her of the lack of aftermarket support for it. You wouldnt believe how knowledgable my wife has become by listening to my ramblings.

 

My wifes favorite line lately. "Don't order anything for that truck!" I'll be looking at wheels or something on e-bay. "you don't need those" .... "that damn UPS truck is here." We are on first name basis now. Wants to go to the track with me sometime, says he's due some credit since he's carried every damn part to me.

 

At least if it was that I couldn't deny anything!
When I'm on the truck site she doesn't even know why....she still does not know I have a turbo-charger.
I have stated this before and it's still true beleive it or not. My wife would not know a turbo from a pair of pliers!! It makes the cat and mouse game easier for me, that's for sure.

 

Man, I thought I was the only one that had to listen to all this crap about my truck and this site.

 

my girlfriend gives me crap all the time cuz when im having something installed or whatever i always have her drive me to get the car back. she says its time for me to understand that the truck will never give me back what i spend on it. i just have to keep telling her that i knew that after dropping the first few thousand dollars into it. i think shes just mad that the truck can change and be more wonderful so i end up drooling over it and other things on this site more than her cuz its not like you can throw a new cam in your woman!

 

HAHAHA! I only look at the site at before work, at lunch, and on nights she works now. I had to promise not to check the forum nights when I get home.

 

she says she wishes i was obsessed with her as i am with the websites....i just ignore her

she says i love my truck more than i love her...i tell her its cuz my truck dosnet gripe all the time. true story hopefully she knows im kidding
