First off what kinda kit should i run, also what other stuff besides the kit should i look into? Up to what horse power are the motors, intake and such safe too for spray? Any other stuff i should look into? Any help would be great, TY

What kind of truck is the kit going on? Most of the time I usually suggest a wet kit. There are pluses and minus of both, and both get the job done, but with a wet kit nozzle placement in regards to the MAF is non-existent and usually (but not always) the cost of ownership over the life of the kit is a little less. I find most customers say they will stay with a small shot only to move up to a larger size shot pretty quick. With a dry shot you may or may not need larger injectors at that point. If you do, the injectors and PCM tune has exceeded the cost of a wet kit. That may or may not be a problem for you, I usually like to ask what your future mod plans are so it can be an educated decision on which would be better for you.

As far as what else to look at, you more then likely will want a RPM window switch, colder set of spark plugs (like a set of NGK TR6s), a fuel pressure safety switch, and a bottle heater to keep the bottle at the jetted PSI range. I would say you will be fine on a 125 shot and could go to a 150 shot relatively safely (you might need a fuel system upgrade depending on what other mods have been done). We have a few kits to choose from:

Let me know if you have any other questions.

Thanks,
Matt

Matt, its a 2004 silverado with a 4.8... I have a cold air and exhaust right now. Plaining on a set of long tubes, off road y-pipe, gears, stall, **** kit, pulley and a cam and rockers, with a dyno tune very shortly after the cam.

with all that a good 150 wet shot should get you moving for a good price.

I set mine to a 100 shot w/o a tune and haven't had any problems yet. Been on it for a year, but don't spray very often. I would say get a custom tune b4 ever spraying to be safe, as mine will be going to Nelson in may or june for a custom tune.

I have one of Matt's Kits on my 00 5.3 and I havent gotten to spray yet, but that will happen very very soon.. I have mine at a 100 shot right now as well and I am sure I will want to move it up to a 125 soon. I cant speak for the other kits but the HSW kit is very easy to install and the instructions are great. I just need to get off my lazy *** and finish my window switch. I wired and plumbed my kit, purge, and auto heater with all the switches in a day taking my time.
