Pulled the whipple off my 01 C3 to install a turbo.

Purchased an 05 SD with the 6.0, and since it will be my main tow rig, I'd like to reuse the whipple on it, with not over 7lbs of boost, but I'd like to get an intercooler on it.

I see some guys working on it, so keep us posted when you get it perfected, I'd like to use one!

 

The balancer on the 05 is different from the one on the 01. You will need a new drive pulley, unless you have the single belt setup.

Figuring out the Intercooler isn't that difficult, just takes fabrication and time. $$constraints have put my project on hold for a little while.

I Think that metalmanfab is working on an intercooler kit for the whipple.

 

By end of next month I should have an update for you and everyone else that's interested.
