Can anybody answer a few questions for me?

1. will my headers fit on the 6.0L?

2. what is the difference between a 4L60E
and a 4L60E HD?

3. what is the best way to go about tuning
and still need to drive everyday?

4. also i have SLP rockers on the 5.3L will those
work on the 6.0L?

 

yes your headers will work.


not sure about the HD version.

Just change the computer so it knows that there is different cubes now and change fueling to start.

Yes all rockers are the same.

I also heard you use the 5.3L computer because of the trans.

 

does the 6.0 have a tranny with it. is it a lq4? what did it come out of. i dont think there is a 60e hd. there are a 60e-65e-80e-85e. yes it will all fit.

 

it's out of a 03 cadillac truck and yes i have the trans.I think it's the LQ4.

 

This is another question. I have a 2001 silverado 5.3L, procharged, 45lb injectors and other crap. Piston #7 exploded going into boost. I want to swap it with an 6.0L i know it fits physically. My question is

Does the intake plenum and injectors fit the 6.0 from my 5.3?
Will there be a problem with my wireing harneses?
Will the 4l60e trans bolt up alright?
Is there any issues anyone has had that they can inform me of?

 

sorry am new to this computer and forum thing i am a mechanic so i do not mean to invade on this thread just trying to ask relative question to the posting. thanks
