Default '05 truck tail lights on an '01 Sub

I deleted my other post because I was (am) all screwed up.
I'm pretty sure the tail lights I saw were on an '05 truck. (Are the '04s the same style? They have the flat circular areas over the bulbs similar to the Dodges.)

Now, will the newer style truck lights fit on my '01 Sub with the barn doors?

Thanks for patiently waiting out my confusion. More to come.

Not to ***** your post, but where in Colorado are you from? I grew up in Greeley.

Default No ****** here...

I'm in Peyton, about 25 miles east of Colorado Springs.
My dad's side of the family are all from the Denton/Pilot Point area.
Small world.
