Hello all! A few questions about I-6 Diesel engines.
First: What is the C.I.D. of the new Cummins 600-TD?
Second: What is the weight of the engine?
Third: What is the cost of a new Cummins 600-TD?
Fourth: How would the Cummins 600-TD with 325hp @ 2900 RPM and 600 ft/lbs torque @1600 RPM compair reliabilty wise to the 441 C.I.D. Caterpillar C-7 with up to 350hp @ 2400 RPM and up to 860 ft/lbs of torque @ 1600 RPM?
Fith: What is the cost of a Caterpillar C-7?
In this boards opinion, which would be best for use in a vehicle weighing 10,200lbs that won't be towing anything; and finally, what AUTOMATIC tranny would be best for these engines.
Your answers to the above questions would be greatly appreciated.
