Default Impressed with Corsa

I got my Corsa side exit exhuast in yesterday. I was very impressed with the quality of the system! The tips look great and I think I'll like the look when they get on the truck, I do however, think the dual 4" tips that the side exit uses, would look better if they could mount in front of the rear wheel. I also didn't pay much attention to the discription of the exhuast which left me very suprised when I looked through the muffler. It's just a straight pipe with about 6 total 3/4" holes, other than that its smooth and striaght through.

Impressions are great on the system so far, I'm hoping to have it on in the next day or two.

Cool. But for 800 smackers for an exhaust if I wasnt impressed I would kill somebody. Awesome sounding system, for sure, but damn - 8 bills? I dont see it. But alas, I am used to Chevelle exhausts and you're talking headers, true duals, mandrel pipes and tips for a fraction of the cost.

I guess I have a hard time understanding where the price of this system is justified or why it is so damned expensive.

I agree with you on the price being high, but I do think they are a good example of high quality. The price of the side exit I purchased from Tbyrne last month during his special offer came out to $612 total after shipping.

I am waiting to see what the interior noise will be, which is what I am most picky about at the moment. If it turns out like I have heard and been told, I think the price will be justified fairly well.

Next will be the supermaxx headers, which are on special this month at TBryne, but their price is twice the catback....so I'll have to think about it still.

I installed mine today. Interior resonance is minimal if any. Much better than the gibson exhaust I replaced. That thing was drone heaven.

Looks like it will be the end of this week before I get the install taken care of. The shop has their lifts full and I'm just waiting for those jobs to finish up so I can use a lift. I will take some pictures as long as i am able to be there when it's installed. Otherwise I may just have to settle for some pictures after the install when the truck is back on the ground.

Default diggin the corsa too

I just had the dual rear exit sport model installed on my 04' Z71 last week. the installer said it was the only kit he's ever seen go in as smoothly as it did. driving, i notice almost no interior noise. sounds badass when you romp it though. got mine through Tbyrne for $674 shipped with the 10% off. good deal.
