Default Magnuson or whipple

I’m looking to buy a supercharger for my truck. It has an lq9 6.0 LS motor. Have cash in hand ready. Magnuson , Whipple. Also will consider procharger kits as well.

Depends on your goals IMO.

Maggie/Whipple vs Procharger make boost very differently.

PC may hook better on the street with 2wd and have great top end too. Not that the others don't. No bad choice here. Gonna be a fun ride!

Yea, Maggie and 2 wheel drive will be a challenge for sure. Mine would be useless at 14#'s without autotrac...

Default Why?

I’m at 355whp now. Honestly I’ve always loved superchargers, my brother owned a lighting when I was a kid and I owned a LSA CTS-V a couple years back. I want to get up to 450-500 hp range, and that’s my best option in my opinion. I don’t street race much, i hardly drive the truck as it is. So hooking isn’t really an issue to me. I’ve driven procharged trucks before and I really like it, that’s why it’s my second option.

Because the twin screw blowers make tons of torque immediately. Procharger needs rpm to "come on" so you're not really making power with it until you're already moving (unless you have a high stall)

Try 600+ rwhp with 2 wheel, it's like your driving on a frozen lake. Ha. If you want a tire fryer then Maggie or whipple it up, pro charger will make boost higher in rpm band so it will have better chance of hooking bc it will roll into the boost with wheel speed vs the Maggie or whipple coming online almost instantly and trying to blow the tires off...
