Does anyone have an alternator laying around that they want to sell.. I need one asap and preferably kinda cheap.. thanks

They are VERY inexpensive at the junk yard. Get one there and take it to an auto parts store for a quick test.

There are many different amp ratings for alternators too, you must consider that when getting a new one.

It's crazy how prices can range on an item like that from the salvage yards. $25 to $175 all day long for your typical 145A unit; $25 ain't a bad deal but if I was laying out $175 guess what I'll buy a brand new AC Delco unit. :D (which I did and that's what that sob cost)

I've got a spare OEM 145A on the shelf that works fine, turns out I didn't need a new one after all. But knowing what it costs to buy a new one, it's not something I would just ditch cheap. Spare parts is spare parts, always end up needing them sooner or later.

just remember, if it ain't already got a 145, you'll need a longer belt.

130 is a large case. 105 amp (K68) is the only small case alt.

my bad - i reckon the parts counter guy inadvertently showed me two different 105s.
wouldn't surprise me in the least.

I hope this one goes thru I have responded several times but it's not showing.. my wife got mad and went and bought me one. It was a 145 and I didnt need a different belt but idk what was on it to start
