If you haven't gotten your windows done yet, there is a place just off the 101 in Sherman Oaks, IIRC it is called Sunshine Tint or something similar.....they do AMAZING work and I got my 2002 Trans Am done (2 sides and giant rear window) for $125.

If you take the Van Nuys Blvd exit (and turn right at the bottom) off the 101 it is directly across the street about 2-3 buildings to the right of the freeway.

 

thanks for the info, but i think i'll go with the other place. They offer the 2 front windows for $50 and will take it off if i get a ticket and put it back on once i get it written off.

 

Hope you get that part in writing........you don't hear about places willing to do that too often....at least I never did when I lived down there.

Trust me I'm sceptical about most people out here too but if you met these guys they're word is as good as gold. They are real humble and they don't give you this slimy feeling when you deal with them. they are honest and good. But I'm with you, I've dealt with my share of shady people out here.

 

Sounds groovy. Like I said, so long as you are happy. I was just throwing in my $.02 where I had great work/customer service at when I lived down there. Doesn't sound like any place will beat their deal & guarantee!!

Enjoy the tint....I need to get my TBSS done.....made an appt at a place up here that EVERYONE recommended and they stood me up, no one was there, shop was closed....left a msg on their answering machine/voice mail and never got a call back. I now have a mental note to not go there or ever recommend anyone to them.
