Default rough rider .22/.22 mag

Anyone have one? how do you like it? I realize that a 200 dollar gun won't be the greatest but I just want it for shooting snakes and other critters I may run into while working (i'm a welder) its getting to be snake season again and id like to have one for the truck but i'm just wondering if there even worth the 200 bucks

I wasn't impressed with the rough rider last time I shot/handled one. Could you get away with a .410 revolver like smith and taurus make?

ruger 10/22 or a savage mark II bolt action are the only choices for a 22 rifle, for me

I have one and its fine for my use. But I mainly only strap it on when I'm fishing. Its cheap, but mine shoots well.

Mmm I dont think I should have a 410, people might hear it, I kinda wanted it to be somewhat quiet, and cheap since it will just be in my welding truck or boat. I think I ended up ferrying a guy to trade me for one so hopefully I will have it soon

I can tell you now if you want something quiet you aren't going to like it they are loud even with just the reg 22lr.

Dont think that will work to well on a single action revolver all though I could be wrong just never seen it done.
