Nosler custom competition

Ok hand loaders, I've got a question for you. As many of you know, the oilfield took a dump and hasn't recovered yet. This has forced me to look at alternatives for the bergers. I loaded up some 155gr a few weeks ago and was able to ring the steel at 500 without issue. It was about 50 degrees then. Today it's in the 70's and im having issues. My first shots went about a foot right. I adjusted my scope. Next shot, dead center. Following shots are irratic, some high and some right. Scope is fine, mounts
are tight. Current load is win brass with 59gr of H4350. Any insight? Ill admit this is embarrassing considering my heritage.

Never mind, I had a PEBRAC moment (Problem exists between rifle and chair). While the rings were good and snug, the scope base had come loose. No further issues after snugging that up.

Derp! That happens to the best of us bud.
I've done the same thing numerous times during late night cleaning sessions and not using my check list.

Yeah I just never had that happen before. To go from drilling center mass at 500 with an m4 to grouping at a minute of barn with a round 3x more powerful. Makes me think I ought to turn my 45's and 10mm's in and get a 380 lol.

Well a word of caution gents. I probably should have shot for groups with the Nosler 155cc before ringing steel. At best I got 2moa groups. Started at 200 and ended up at 100 trying to find the issue. 9 loads, half grain increments from 49gr to 53 of imr 4064. First grouping was irratic causing me to move back to 100, retorque everything from the scope to the action. Also grabbed a rear bag for repeatability. I guess the rifle just doesn't like the 155gr. Good news is I found an old unopened box of 190gr smk I bought about 7 years ago. I guess ill load them up with my old standby of H4350.
