Bacon bits vs 223
Something went full retard with the scope on my hunting AR15 so I got my new savage 11 hog hunter out to give it a try tonight. It worked out good :)
175yds and there he was, bacon bits was just out in the freshly planty corn field so you guessed it. COD was Acute Lead Poisoning. 75gr to be exact. Theres bacon bits, all 235#.. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v4...n/IMG_5397.jpg |
nice!! they are slowly makin their way into North Carolina where im at but id love to go out and hunt those things!! ive been on several nice hunts but never for hogs

Yea we caught one that was rooting up the frest planted corn. Dude took out over an acre by its self in one night. They arent a problem here yet, we keep them in check so far :D

Know the feeling. Last fall we broadcast planted a greenfield and ran out of light before we could drag and cultipack. Came back at daylight to find not a seed remaining but thousands of hog tracks.
