TurboJohn6,
The only wires I ran through the firewall were the analog2 output and ground. The serial data connections are very long. I mounter the LC-1 on top of the fender well and ran the serial serial data wires between the fender and through the rubber boot for the door harness into the cab. The LC-1 is made to be mounted outside of the vehicle the lead from the O2 sensor w/ the LARGE connector is just too short.

Nah, I think I have made up my mind that I want this one:

Anyone have problems with it? Good things to say about it? For those who have one, how long have you been using it?

I currently use the AEM, but I have been eyeing the NTK AFX Wideband as well (p/n: 91101). I have found it on eBay for as little as $220 (normally sells for $350). This wideband was recommended to me by an OEM Calibrator, as an affordable wideband that is produced by the same company the OEM use (although does not cost thousands like the OE ones).

I have had the PLX for a couple months now. I can't compare it cuz it's the only one I've worked with. I do like it a lot though. It was easy to hook up, with a little soldering. I do need to go back through and clean it up, loom and tie it up. I have only heard of one case of haveing to deal with support, and I heard it was very good.

I'm thinking of buying another to have a temporary one for tuning other vehicles.

Thanks for posting up your experience with the PLX. I am leaning towards buying it like shimp and truckmann. I hope it works out for me and everyone else for that matter. Don't want to waste my money trying different ones.

I still haven't heard a bad comment about the PLX.
