i have a used LC1 with gauge I'd sell, i replaced it with a different model when i upgraded trucks, i forgot i had it in a box and found it one day...

I was looking at the plx 100 and 200 series guages, I am new to this stuff what all will i have to do besides install the unit?...as in like hooking upto the O2 sensor and all that stuff. will i have to buy a wideband O2 sensor?..someone please help me out on what all i will need to do in hooking this kind of unt up, I kinna like the OBD2 guage cause its simple to hookup but its 400.00 + dollars.

plx's websire talkabout all this bullshit about wiring resistors and capicitors into the stock narrowband wiring to the ecm. I want one i can simply take the stock narrowband out replace it with a wideband sensor. i dont wanna have to do an wiring to the stock narrowband sensor. is there any thats just plug and play no cutting wires or soldering capicitors or resistors. I want plug and play. from the O2 sensor upto the guage, besides the 12volts and ground...

You dont have to cut any wires. You might have an SES light come on saying that your missing a Narrowband. Lots of people just pull out the narrowband and install the wideband.
If you can delete the code from the PCM you will be fine. The resistor is to emulate the voltage to keep the ses light from triggering. |

This can be used with a wideband if you purchase the module. This is PLX's version of the Aeroforce Tech. Let me say, they did wonders with this one. Watch the vids! Derek, you have a pm. |

if you just pull out the narrowband and install the wideband then the ecm is not gonn get any kins od signal fron an O2 sensor. Which in turn your fuel trims are gonna be like shit. i am running cats for right now. could i put it in the bung after the cats or does it have to go before, i can delete the codes from the ones after the cats.
