wanted to know when should i change my mass air sensor ?? the truck has 135000 !! with lots of mods!!

When your throttle body spacer gets broke in .

 

I wouldnt change it unless there was a reason, you can clean it with Mass airflow sensor cleaner.

 

yeah !i did clean it off about a month ago !! i really didnt know the life span on one !! thanks guys !!

 

Electrical contact cleaner works great also , try not to run an oiled filter , they are bad for MAFs.

 

If you have a tuner, log the data for the maf to determine if its operating properly.

 

You'll throw a P0101 code when it goes bad and/or is so dirty that it's malfunctioning. I usually clean mine once a year.
