what is your misfire set at?

I had p0300 code and had it tune out looks like they maxed all the tables. Is this ok I thought I read somewhere that maxing them was bad?

it depends on ur timing tables, AND fuel trim. if duty cycle is over 80% on injectors, it WILL be bad

Mine is something very high (can't remember the number). Why would you say maxing this is bad if your IDC is close to 100%.

If your fueling (AFR), timing and such is dialed in, I don't see how this can be detrimental especially if you log on a regular basis. Am I wrong here?

Maxing the tables wont affect performace, But will cause some headaches when you have a real missfire problem. If its tune related after a cam or converter install and your still having problems. They can always ajust the area were the missfire is causing the problem instead of just maxing all the missfire tables.

Oh yea to answer your question :) Depending on your setup? Most trucks didnt need any ajustment, But the ones that did, I just multiplyed the idle regions 2-8% just depends...

would it be a good idea to copy stock misfire back in and start by multiplying the numbers until no misfire is detected? I only had light coming on every once in a while. Tuner disable the p0300 code but i looked at my misfire tables and they are maxed .
