Tuner?

I am buying a 2010 GMC Sierra 1500 4x4 5.3L 6-speed. I am immediately installing K&N Series 63 intake and Magnaflow exhaust 3" single outlet. I want an easy hand held programmer that is beneficial for a slight hp and tq increase while maintaining or increasing gas mileage. I will go custom later but for now I want quick and easy. What is the best hand held tuner? Roughly with intake and exhaust and a moderate tune what do you think the increase will be in power? I am not very knowledgeable on GM only of Honda and Toyota. I have a 600hp 4cylinder tC. I just don't know much about GM's. Looking for input. Also what size is the factory exhaust? Is it mandrel bent from the factory? Thank you.

The only "handheld" that can tune the TCM on the 6spds is the EFILive AutoCal.

How does the autocal work? Is it using a laptop? Do you datalog then the company send you a specific map? How much is it, the link I found showed 1500 for 5, am I am not sure if that is just five tunes?

EFILive will only sell them in bulk. Here is our AutoCal link:

I wanna see pics of the Scion TC! :D
Just go custom now and be done with it. Some of the sponsors on the right give you free updates/upgrades.

Give it some more time, the shop is having issues with the Haltech ecu. Once everything is track ready I will have video.

Why do you think its a waste of money? With intake and exhaust a moderate tune, staying off the throttle should definitely improve gas mileage and when on the throttle should increase performance.
