tune question about tow button

When I get a tune what can they do with the tow hual button

You are right. The Tow/Haul only has some control over a few transmission functions. You could have some different PT and WOT shift settings, and TCC lock/unlock points set differently, but that's about it.

This is correct, in the case of Blackbear (I can't speak for a Wheatly or Nelson tune) He takes 75% of torque management out in normal mode, and 100% with Tow/Haul if you request it.

Nothing can be changed with the motor programming because the Tow/Haul utilizes just another set of transmission tables. At least that's how it was explained to me by Justin iirc.

What I did was tuned all transmission characteristics to my liking, and left all Tow/Haul (aka Performance) settings alone. That way it's still there (untouched) for what it was designed for, and transmission acts the way I want it to at all other times.

I don't drag race it, so I actually use Tow/Haul to tow and haul, lol.

the tow haul can be set up to only shift at wot for roll racing . this is how i have mine setup, its nice not having to wait for a down shift
