Default torque accuracy

I was just wondering how accurate the engine torque is on hptuners, and if it is before, or after the transmission.

I checked mine w/ some sort of palm pilot scanner in real time in high school and since I have an aftermarket filter and a blower and it is calculated off the maf it was in no way accurate. That or I have a freak of a truck and am pushing 1500 lb/ft at half throttle lol. Or maybe it is calculated to the wheels w/o resistance and after gear reduction...
