Is there a way to view the delta between the MAF and the VE Table ??

Default Is there a way to view the delta between the MAF and the VE Table ??

Assuming one is running a MAF tune is there a way to see in percentage points how much difference there is between the MAF and the VE tables fueling calculations...kind of like the AFR error pid, but MAF error instead. I know the fuel trims will give you VE error, but that's not what I'm looking for....

You could set up some sort of a PID that calculates the % difference of GM.DYNCYLAIR_DMA (Air Flow Grams/Cyl - Speed Density)
and your airmass derived from the MAF flow rate.

Can you explain exactly how to do this (I haven't had to set up a custom PID yet)...

Let me explain why I want this: I'm trying to find a way to cheat when tuning VE at WOT, if I can get % difference between MAF and VE I can calculate VE at WOT without having a wideband (this is assuming that the MAF is calibrated correctly of course). while I'm not sure this is the method I'd use on my own truck (I have a wideband on order) it WOULD be useful on other trucks that I tune that do not have widebands

The PID is: [PID.16]-[PID2320] and output in % to get the difference between the VE and the MAF. Many thanks to RedHardSupra for figuring this out
