Tell me I'm not dumb.... 3 bar map woes....
So I did a 3 bar map sensor swap (ended up being generic gm knockoff, gotta watch the wording on those dang ads) about 2 months ago. It read 95 kpa after offset and scaling changes in hptuners. Been trying to tune this new cam in and I feel like I've been chasing my tail trying to get driveability dialed in. So two timing maps later, trying the RTT tuning and everything else I checked my MAP sensor with key on and engine off and it was reading 86 kpa! So I went ahead and placed an order for an MSD replacement from Summit. Anyone ever heard of a map sensor starting to read slightly different or do they just crap out all at once? Should I cancel the order for the new MAP or go ahead and wait and throw it in.

Just went out and checked it among other things.... Reflashed the ecu back to the stock OS and while the truck was cool it read 95 kpa. Definitely odd, so i'll just go ahead and throw the new one in when it gets here. Definitely might explain why I've been having issues dialing in the part throttle VE based off of the LTFT+STFT graph.
