Coincidence I was just messing with mine. My T56 has 2 plugs in it, the reverse light sensor and the vss. I checked the reverse light switch and it only makes up when in reverse. So, the computer has no idea what gear it is ever in so it must be something to do with the 17 tooth reluctor wheel and the minimum speed for engagement being out of wack due to the 40 tooth factory reluctor wheel. Huh, maybe i'll try to get up to some crazy speed and see if it will engage. That would rule that out....like 120+
If it can't be fixed with a tune I wonder if a F-body computer would?

I downloaded an SSR 6spd. tune off of HPTuners but I haven't seen anything obvious. But I just got HP yesterday, so there is a 99.99% chance that I missed something. I think I need to look at a service manual .
