stolen programmer and want stock tune back

hey my friend has a 00 Z71, and he had a superchips or hypertech or some crap programmer. it got stolen. he wants his stock tune and shift points back. if i run a factory update to his pcm will it just go back to a completey stock tune or only change the updated parts?

he would need his pcm flashed.

The dealer will flash it with the most current tune for his truck, so ya, stock tune and stock shift points.

i work at the dealership and will be doing the flashing lol. i was just making sure it would change the whole tune back to stock along with the updates instead of just the parts being updated

I don't remember where I saw this but a guy bought one that was locked and a friend of his that worked at a dealership unlocked it for him, he called off the program his friend used to do this but I can remember it off the top of my head. He said it worked perfect and I believe it was a SuperChips. I'll see if I can find this again..
