Default Steer wheel buttons

Looking for some guidance. I think this will work. I think pins G and B will correlate to pins D and J. What do you guys think. These pins are unused on the clock spring. Going to use 2 buttons for 2 step and line lock.

Worth a shot.
Did you check to see if the circuit is complete between the corresponding pins?

Did not. Found a guy who has used the clock spring in the same manner. But he doesn’t have a write up. There are male pins on the clock spring itself. I guess I could do a continuity check.

Checked continuity between pins D to G, E to F, J to B. Checked out good. So I had to use 2 pins to complete the power supply for the line lock DG/ EF and I used JB for the 2 step since I’m using the switch to ground. Only issue is I don’t think I have a good ground as I can’t get the 2 step to activate with the button. Line locked worked as advertised. No exposed wires dangling behind the steering wheel and cleared out the cubby
