Default speed limiter/ governor

Do the vho trucks have a speed limiter or governor on them? The reason I ask is I have a predator programmer, and supposedly I can raise the speed to 125mph. I have tried a couple of times to raise it all the way and it will cut off at 110mph. Diablo says there is nothing wrong with the programmer, but I'm beginning to think the programmer is a BIG piece of junk. Any input is appreciated.

the VHO's do come with a 100mph shut off from the factory.
You need to toss that hand held and place it on e-bay.
Then go and get you a real tune from Nelson Performance. Dyno or mail order tune.
Either way, you'll be glad you did.
My speed govn. is set at 250mph or something close to that.

There is nothing wrong using a Predator programmer on a fairly stock setup. It will do everything you need and then some. On the mph limiter set both, the limiter w/etc and wo/etc to 125 and it should work. Shoot for 25-26* at WOT with 93 gas and .890 to .900 mv readings on fuel and it should run the 125.

But..........you are having to do big cams, headers, no cats, CAI, custom tune, vette servo, cut-out, and 4.11's gears over my custom tune, Corsa cat-back, CAI kit, and factory 3.73 gears w/ factory 20's just to run 2/10ths lower than my 1/4mi run!!!!

Not saying there's nothing wrong with it, but he will gain more HP & TQ with a custom tune.
