I have HPT and have used both, I vastly prefer HPT in both aspects. Scanning and Tuning.

Interesting. The documentation from autometer says to use 10-18afr. Your example uses 10-17afr. Which when i change the settings to 10-17 everything lines up correctly. Thanks man.

Man i am pissed.... I downloaded the autometer instructions for a analog gauge which is 10-18aft... I have a digital one which is 10-17afr....

Freaking wasted a day because i am a retard....

My first impressions as slightly biased to EFILives scanner.. Reason being i have had it for 6+ years... I have tons of PID selections and Maps (histograms) that i have made over that 6 year period... So switching to something completely different is rather challenging... Not to mention every single table is backwards from what i have been looking at for 6 years....

I do like the 2-bar custom OS thou

Yes it is! I was exactly the opposite of your situation Corey, have been using Hptuners for years and then within the last 6 months I purchased Efilive also, was losing too many diesel customers because efi can do the 5 position tunes (DSP5) and that's what every diesel guy wants it seems. So took me a minute getting acclimated to the different software.

I am just having a hard time because every single table is reversed. It is just gonna take some getting used to.
I have been using both for years everyday so its not that bad anymore. When I first started out I had HPT, then sold it and went EFI, then bought HPT a few years later so I would have both again. When I first got HPT again I just couldnt visualize some tables backwards compared to efi so I would use efi to flip the hpt table so it would look "normal" to me then make changes and flip the table again.
I keep finding more and more differences in the older LS1B pcm's between the 2. I have to give HPT props for still making changes where EFI has definitely abandoned them. I like things and dislike things about both so its hard to pick just one for me. I have been saying for years if you could combine the two you would have the perfect tuning software, lol.
