Smoke at startup
#42

I hope I am not celebrating too soon, but even after leaving the engine to cool overnight and several restarts, NO SMOKE!

Here is what I did.
I removed the valve covers, soaked them overnight in Seafoam, blew them out with an air compressor the next morning (both valve covers, not just the driver's side!) and reinstalled.
I have not seen any smoke since.

JYD I'm in the process of doing your fix. I couldn't believe the amount of crap that came out from under the baffles in the valve covers. I'm still going to install a catch can and a breather on the passenger side as i think the system is faulty from the get go.
