RPMs jump while cruising
I recently got my truck back together and tuned after doing cam swap (223/232 113 .600 TSP) on my 09 6.2 Silverado. The shop I had tune it is a reputable shop in the area, idles great, runs great haven't gotten on it much since my tq converter is still under break in period. The problem is when I am cruising, the truck jumps up in RPMs on and off. Is this a tune issue or something else going on? I linked a video showing the RPMs jump below. https://youtube.com/shorts/m_B1g5gKKAo

I mean the check engine light is on……why?
Its very possible it’s a tune issue. |
Might be the converter locking and unlocking. My tuner did something so that my converter would bot lock up until 4th gear.

What aftermarket converter is it? Most aftermarket TCC can't handle the programmed TCC slip in a stock tune. Have your tuner make sure all TCC PWM (slip) is removed. Hopefully you haven't already burnt up the clutch in the new converter.

Something else crossed my mind,
When I still had my 60e, something similar happened to me. I pulled the pan off to find that the builder didn’t properly seat one of the solenoids. |
