I have a Predator U7195 on a 2003 Chevy Silverado 1500HD. I wanted to adjust the rpm's higher at WOT. I moved the upshift rpm's up to 5900, and the rev limiter right above that. When I test drove the truck it felt like a speed limiter or something came in. Just quit going until I let up. Then it shifted. So I moved the upshift rpm to 5800, and moved the rev limiter up to around 6000 rpm. Test drove it, it was better, I didn't have to let up this time, but took a second to shift into second. Am I heading in the right direction? Should I move the rev limiter up more? Do I need to change the upshift MPH?

How are you reading your RPM's? If you are using your tach it sounds like your tach is lagging behind the actual revving of your motor. If you move your shift rpm down to 5700 or your fuel cutoff up to 6100 the problem will likely disappear. I had a similar problem in my car and my truck and I was able to solve it by simply increasing the range between shifted rpm and limited rpm. For example, with my car I have to shift no higher than a tach indicated 67-6800 to keep from smacking the programmed 7000 fuel cutoff.
If I remember correctly I zeroed the WOT upshift MPH entries to prevent conflicts between the two tables.

Yes I'm using the tach. Is fuel cutoff the same as rev limiter?
Ok, I'll try moving the shift rpm to 5700 then. I noticed it was starting to shift better when I did this. I guess I should have kept increasing the range.
