I'm wiring driver moniter systems into our company trucks and in previous years we tied into the guage cluster for a speed signal. This however caused a draw on MANY trucks which eventually lead to battery disconnects and converting to GPS monitered speed..... The issue with GPS is it doesn't work in many area's where our trucks operate and managament wants to go back to a hard speed wire in the trucks.

I'm trying to avoid previous issues, so I'm hoping you guys can tell me somewhere else to pickup a speed signal similiar to the one on the cluster?

Found this, but it's for a 4.3L truck...
