i ordered hptuners from summit racing last week,i got it installed in my laptop.evertime i hook it up to my truck,it would pop dlc fuse.my laptop was running off of battery power.i emailed hptuners and they told me that was weird(never herd of it happening)and to try a different laptop,so i did and it did same thing.the next day i tryed it again and it didn't pop fuse but it smoked my laptop.luckily it didn't mess my laptop up.sounds like theres a short in the cord or mpvi box.im waiting on hptuners to email me back to see what they gone do about it.anyone else ever run into this?

 

I think it was dewmanshu who found bad connectors in his OBD2 port.

 

i can hook a scantool up to it like a tech 2 and it works fine so i wouldn't think it would be connections on the truck
