predator programmers
i have a predator left over from a f body i used to race. can you acquire good tuning characteristics and good performance gains? can i send it back and get it updated for my 05 5.3 truck? my mods are light: exhaust work, ls6 cam, and it will be sprayed at the track.

Well for all the uneducated folks above you can get custom tunes for the diablo..Nelson (sponsor here) makes tunes for them along with tuning via software..
I would email him and see if it can be switched around to use on the truck and get him to tune it since you have it already..Best thing is you can have a n/a tune and a no2 tune

no, you can not turn one model predator into a different model...
and yes, like Andrew mentioned above, full custom tuning is available for the diablo Predator, inTune, and Trinity programmers from any number of diablosport CMR custom tuners using diablo's tuning software...

Yess you Can, send it back to diablo and they will send you the latest unlocked version that WILL work for your truck.
Mis information running rampant here.
Yess, that diablo can be used for a custom tune, thats every bit as good as ANY of the sponsors here that so many ppl leg hump.
There are plenty of guys that can make custom tunes and email them to you, no diff than what "sponsers" do with EFI Live, without you spending that 450$ for autocal.
There are plenty of guys in the diablo forums that do custom tunes aswell, if you decide to go that route.
Best part of having that diablo is you can save multiple tunes on the unit itself, and switch them at will.
The new model that you will get from them even data logs.
There is Nothing wrong with a new model diablo sport tuner!
