My 2012 GMC 2500 stalls sometimes in idle and code p0506 is stored, does anyone know the problem?

Here are some common things.

• Defective/sticking Idle Air Control Motor
• Intake Manifold Vacuum leaks
• Carbon buildup in the Throttle Body

Clean the MAF and throttle body first, check for vacuum leak and see what happens. If the problem stays I'd be looking at a faulty throttle body itself. The motor may be weak or faulty and won't allow it to idle properly.

Did you perform a throttle relearn with a scan tool when you replaced it?

I'm out of idea's without me standing infront of the truck with a my laptop to see what is going on.

The throttle body and intake leaks are the most common issues with a faulty computer being the last problem I'd be looking at. If shot gunning a new AC Delco throttle body didn't help then I have no idea right now. Maybe bring it to a dealership.
