p0315 anyone had this code?

hey guys i have about 25k on my truck, and a nelson tune with the mods in my sig for about 1500 miles. my check engine light came on today, after a key cycle. the code is p0315. cam/crank sensor positiion error. is this something that you guys have run into with a tune? just wondering if i need to pursue it or just clear the code. the truck is running perfectly fine, idle, cruise, and WOT is all good.

YUP! Anyone with A Tech II can perform the relearn or erase the code. It can be done using HPT as well...I've heard that sometimes it comes on with a new tune...did u call Allen and ask him about it? He might send u out a new one or u can simpl;y head over to the nearest dealer and ask them to help u out. R/

CPS relearn ( Crankshaft positioning sensor variation not learned) It wont hurt anything but you should see about getting a relearn done via a Tech II or some form of tuning software. It only takes a couple min to do. A different could do the same thing, it just happens. Sometimes a tune with kick that code and it has to be relearned. Just part of the game.

Ya I had that code I had to do a crank relearn. I had to drive 70 miles to get it done by Rick at Synergy, but thats just me and where I live sucks. Good luck.
