Ran a diagnostic scan on my buddies truck and got back p0170, bank one lean. Looked the codes up on the sticky in this section and says fuel management trim bank 1? Is that an injector issue? Any help appreciated, thanks!

Done any mods recently?
Probably not an intake leak since it is bank specific. But possibly an exhaust leak before you O2 sensor. I am with TXSZ66AVLANCHE though, make sure that intake and exhaust stream is sealed up tight.

I am open loop and have a wideband. I keep burning that #5 wire on my dynatech headers. When I do, it "shows" lean (believe it or not, too much fuel in exhaust stream will show lean). That plug wire issue is his lean problem. Plug wire on driver side (bank 1)?

Yessir that's where he keeps burning at! But it came down to his maf. Apparently 0171 was in there too and it would pop up and going away at random moments and swapped it with mine and fixed it...so we got him another one and good to go. Thanks man for the info and help!
