Before you get into any of the below stuff. Is your 6.2 from a GMT800 or a GMT 900 truck, and what truck is the 2007 truck, a GMT 800 or GMT 900 truck.
GMT 800=1999-2007
GMT 900=2007.5-2013
58x to 24x reluctor conversion box
Lingenfelter TRG-002 58x-24x Crank Sensor Trigger Conversion Module - Lingenfelter Performance
Knock Sensor relocation harness
Racetronix LS1- LS2 Knock Sensor Relocation Harness - Lingenfelter Performance

Yeah The NNBS was the first model to have the 6.2 , specifically the sierra and Yukon Denali .
Does your current 4.8 have VVT ? Not sure who makes an adaptor or if one is available , can you possibly install a non VVT cam and standard timing set ? I think you may be able to , Internet is your friend for this issue

Sorry, forgot about that one.
I guess what I was trying to say is that the only 6.2L engines available with VVT are Gen IV engines and therefore are all 58x. This means the OP has a 58x engine he is trying to install. OP stated he had an 07 truck and so the 4.8L motor should have been an LY2 which is also Gen IV meaning the 24x-58x conversion specified in an earlier post isn't necessary as OP has the correct type of computer.
Back to the OP's question. From what I can tell there are 3 options with the VVT. These were all specified by members here so I am just re-cycling their information and don't know much beyond these statements. The first is to simply leave the VVT actuator unplugged, the second is to program the PCM for VVT and modify the harness (not sure how exactly this is done) and the third is to do the VVT delete.

I am very new to the LS world. I understand what the VVT and DOD does. What I don't understand is why we would want to delete them. My guess would be for cam upgrades and/or it effects the overall hp. I am questioning this because I am looking into dropping a 2007 L92 complete pull into a 86 Chevy C10. I am also trying to find out if this is an absolute "No, No" The L92 pull will consist of engine, harness, ecm, all accessories, fuse block, Accelerator pedal, exhaust manifolds. Possible TCM, fuel pump assembly if needed and possibly the tach if needed. I am expecting to use the 6L80e tranny behind it if possible. Will I need the body computer and fuse panel as well? Any help would be much appreciated. If someone is experienced in this please hit me up.
