Default NBS Efan wiring without AC?

Looking for suggestions on how to wire efans without having to tie into ac on a 2000 silverado.
Would there be any drawbacks to running both fans all the time? Truck will be a weekend warrior/ track.
Thank-you in advance!

If you want them controlled by coolant temp you can get a temperature sender and mount it in a coolant passage somewhere, connect to a control box that will trigger the relays based on a certain temperature. There are a few options out there for that, I think Flex a Lite and Derale may both have some controllers for that.

I would just wire them to the pcm and have your tuner turn the efans on. You can lookup the pinout for it but the pcm sends a ground signal to activate it so you wire your 4 pin relay up with 30 and 86 together and then 85 is your trigger from the ground and your power going out goes to the fans.

I have my fans wired to have low speed running always, and high comes on with either a/c or engine temperature. Even without a/c on and not in defrost, engine temperature commands high speed frequently.
