Default MAF code. cel on and off

OK i finally got my truck back on the road 3 months later, after my drive shaft blew up while i was on the dyno, taking out my tranny with it. So here's my problem i was driving and cel came on and went off. took the truck to auto zone to get the code checked out and it came back as the MAF meter. what could cause this? also truck don't seem any faster than it was before i took it to get tuned.

The MAF sensor could be covered in oil from an aftermarket CAI if you have one of those, very common. AutoZone sells MAF cleaner which you can use to try cleaning the MAF first and see if that's your problem. Even without an aftermarket oiled air filter it's possible for the MAF to get dirty and trip a code. Also check the connector and wiring to the MAF sensor and make sure that there aren't any broken wires, expanded terminals, or wires backed out of the connector

i dnt have an aftermarket CAI, but i will try cleaning it and see if that takes care of the problem with the code. Any suggestion on why my truck doesn't seem any faster after i had it tuned?

dyno tuned by who? and what was the specific maf code? If you still have a maf code set you are running SD.

If your drive shaft blew up and took out the tranny while it was on the dyno, how were they able to finish tuning it???
