the guys at ls1tech were actually surprised over the way the tow haul tune was setup so it doesnt seem to be all that popular lol and the new file decrease your shift points because the awd will hurt you up top so the faster shifts will keep you in the power section of the engine/gears. And also the new file allows your pcm to drop timing below 24 degrees since you are planning to go on a 150 shot later on, so mostly 'technical, preemptive' modifications rather than performance.

 

I downloaded that tune and took a brief look at it. It's not the same as my tune earlier. I mean, its for a 2005 6.0L Silverado. When I have more time, I'll have to compare it to my 2000 Silverado tune you did for me and try to make them match.

I poked around through the second tune, and it's way different everywhere. Even the fan temperature settings are different as well as the gas tank size, speedo, etc. Are you sure you attached the correct tune?
