Default hptuners

I have decided to get hptuners. Which should I get, the standard or professional? I don't have a laptop yet but can it be used with a desktop pc?

Nope.

The only full tuning suite at this moment that will be able to be used without a laptop is EFI Live V2. Even then, that laptop-less functionality won't be available for another month or two.

Professional, without a doubt. You will want the ability to hook up a wide band to it. You will need a REALLY long usb cable if you plan on using a desk top. You can black box scan with the unit, but you will need to have a pc or labtop to read and flash the truck with.

I always recommend getting the pro version up front, in the end you don't want to be kicking yourself for not spending the extra few dollars for it now.

Here are the differences between the two http://www.hptuners.com/forum/showthread.php?t=2924

Thanks. I guess I'll be ordering the pro version soon. I plan to get a laptop but haven't found one cheap enough yet. Does the $650 for the pro version come with everything I need?

What wideband should I get? I have an interceptor gauge and would like to use it for the readings.
