How too- DBW to DBC swap
Figured I would post this up for anyone interested. This was done on a P59 ECM
Parts needed-
ECM with IAC control driver. A good source for this is 03-06 Express vans, I used a 04 Express 3500 6.0/80e. Being a 04 like Mine it allowed me to transfer my VIN over to the new computer. If your not sure if your computer has an IAC driver I’ll post pictures below of where to check for the chip.
Wiring- There are 7 wires, 4 for the IAC and 3 for the TPS. All wiring goes between the sensors and the PCM. I had a 05 Express van harness that I stole the wiring out of, I ended up shortening like 2 feet and installing new PCM pins.
TPS- 3 Wires Factory Harness Color
Pin 1 Blue Pin 5 Gray
Pin 2 Blue Pin 60 Black Or Tan
Pin 3 Green Pin 24 Dark Blue
IAC- 4 Wires
Pin A Green Pin 77 Lt Green /Black
Pin B Green Pin 76 Lt Green / White
Pin C Green Pin 78 Lt Blue / Black
Pin D Green Pin 79 Lt Blue / White
Throttle cable- I used a new GM stock truck cable, some setups will require aftermarket cables from what I am told ( Holley High Ram is one)
Throttle body of your choosing.
A throttle cable mount bracket for the intake.
Throttle pedal assembly and floor plate. ( this is the bitch) you cannot buy this part new any longer. I raided the scrap yard and got a few for personal projects. You have to remove the steering shaft, booster assembly and a couple brackets under dash.
I was going to change out the whole floor plate but after looking at it decided to modify one and make it bolt in. This whole deal can be reversed without issue. Hell my TAC module is still hooked up.
LT1 Swap is the site that really got me thinking about this, they have some good info.

Thanks for the official write up!!!
Just an FYI. If someone wanted to, the cruise control can be used if you buy the module with cable and hook it up.
It bolts in place where the tach module goes. Just look at a 99-02 truck for reference and you will see what I am referring too.

The cruise module bolts to firewall where the Tac module is on the DBW trucks.
The cable comes from that module and is attached to a double pulley on the TB and mounts along side of the throttle cable on the Cable driven set up.
Just have to look up the wiring.
I am just not sure of the specific details on the electronics side of it.
I know the 99-02 cruise switch on the column is different from the 03-07 classic.
But I am sure the vans had a cruise set up as well even though they use the older style column and switch.

Is this different on a P59 vs an 0411? Because I just did this and the TPS grey wire goes to blue pin 8. I’m sure everyone knew this but I was seriously scratching my head until I cross referenced with brendans info on LT1swap
