help with ls1 fan install on 04 express 6.0L
 

ok i bought new Dorman ls1 fans along with a nelson performance harness kit. got it all installed correctly but the blue wire that goes to the pcm does nothing. i inserted it into pin 42 which was empty like the nelson instructions said.

right now when i turn on the a/c one fan comes on correctly but once the van gets hot the other one doesnt kick in...im starting to think i should move the blue wire over to pin 33? or pin 42 needs to be activated by a editing software

You need to get pin 42 activated with a tune or send the pcm to nelson to program it.
